New races, more training

Actually, my last weekend training run before the Tinker Bell Half marathon was gorgeous.

Unlike Saturday, which was pouring rain, Sunday turned out to be fairly sunny and not even that cold.
Jason and I ran four miles outside with a large break at the 2 mile mark for some serious stretching.

I felt pretty dang good and tried very hard to pace myself because without my hip bothering me, I felt fast and good.

Gotta save it for Tink though.

I told myself (and my hubby) that I wanted to take more of a break from running to concentrate on riding my bike after the Tinker Bell half marathon, but then we signed up for the Worst Day of the Year run 5K.

5K should be pretty easy after 13.1 miles, and I can wear my Tink shirt.

I’ve done the Worst Day of the Year ride before, the 16 mile one, and it was fun, although crowded.

The mascot is so cute!
